I can't creep unless I'm holding a key bound (binded?) with "walk."Īnd since I'm losing four buttons now (I basically can't reprogram the WASD, and I'm not utilizing them because I'm using the thumbstick), I'm considering ditching the TAC and going with a better device with a dpad. In other words, any direction on the stick goes from 0% to 100%, no in-between. The main reason for using the TAC was because of its analog stick, but now that I've been using the XIM, there is no way I can go back to simply using the TAC on PS4 sans XIM.Īlso, on the XOne, all of the Halo games within "The Master Chief Collection" feel amazing, but my TAC's stick loses its variable-input functionality (I don't know the actual name of this function). Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! The image below shows exactly what buttons (and the stick) the TAC Pro uses for WASD movement. I cannot have a separate action on either, they are essentially mirrored. For example, if I bind 'jump' to the "W" key, BOTH the "W" key and the forward moving direction on the analog stick will BOTH make you jump and move forward simultaniously. When I use the TAC Pro on the XBox One via the XIM4, however, the WASD keys and the analog stick become locked together. I can also do the opposite, move with the WASD keys and bind different actions to the analog stick directions. With the TAC Pro on PS4, I can use the analog stick to move while binding the WASD keys to other actions. They both act as one in the same, and I'm trying to get around that. Anyway, I've got everything configured perfectly except for the WASD keys and the analog stick.

It seems as if I don't have a lot of options for analog stick + mouse. I've searched the forum and couldn't find much info on utilizing a TAC Pro through the XIM4, which is what I'm currently doing. The post titled "XIM4 OFFICIAL HARDWARE COMPATIBILITY LIST" doesn't list it, should I mention this directly within that post? It is amazing!īefore I get to my question, I'd like to add that the Hori TAC Pro is compatible with XIM4. I originally began using the Hori TAC Pro (with a Logitech G502 mouse) for PS4 and PS3, but I decided to give the XIM a try for my Xbox exclusive games. This is my first post as I just recently purchased and starting using the XIM4, which I absolutely love.
